FELLOWSHIP
Fellowship is a core of what we do together, because strong relationships centered on Christ empower us to reach further in His name. We at FPC like to have fun together! From lunches following worship to special trips or outings, we have various planned events you can participate in so we get to know each other better and build strong relationships.
Senior Lunches
Our senior citizens enjoy getting together on the third Wednesday of the month at 12:00 pm at a local restaurant to share a meal, hear updates from everyone, and try a few fun puzzles people bring. Please contact the church office for information on the location of the next lunch.
Presbyterian Women
All women are welcome to attend the FPW Women’s Bible Study on the 4th Tuesday of the month. Meetings are held at Mildred Hopkins’ house and start at 7:00, usually ending at 8:30. Bible Study topics are varied and require no additional preparation. Facilitating is rotated within the group. All participants share prayer concerns and joys and intercessory prayer is an important part of our meeting. The support, encouragement, friendship and love from this group is open to all and keeps us anticipating the next meeting for an opportunity to refresh our souls and study God’s Word. The FPW business meeting embodies our mission, which is to support our congregation and community both with missions and volunteer activities. Fundraising is an important part of our activities. We encourage camaraderie through fun activities and fellowship and always see God’s face in each other.
