Two great things we can give our children: One is roots, the other is wings.

Parent Tot 2 and 5D4 (Spaces Available)

Offering a rich developmentally–appropriate curriculum for the whole child in a Christian environment

Thank you for your interest in Fallston Community Pre-K.  It is very important to the development of your child that you find the proper place for his/her preschool experience. As parents ourselves, we understand the need to know more about the facility you are considering.

Fallston Community Pre-K is a state approved private pre-school program.  It is a non-profit organization governed by Fallston Presbyterian Church through the Pre-K Committee, which includes our school director, our minister, and several church members (some of whom are current/former parents, some of whom are teachers).

Our class size is approximately 13-14 children in our Pre-K 4’s program classes, 13-14 children in each of our Pre-K 3’s program classes, and up to 8 in our Parent Tot program classes.  There is a teacher and an assistant in each class.

A typical day at our school may include the following:  opening, group instructional times, center times, free play, clean up, group time,  bathroom, snack, story, games (indoor and outdoor). We issue a monthly newsletter that keeps you informed of our activities. Throughout the year, we schedule parent conferences and send home written evaluations to evaluate progress.

We encourage (but not require) parent participation in the program.  In addition to accompanying us on our field trips, parents are given the opportunity to sign up several times during the school year and be our “helpers for a day”.
